Paul Curtis Associates, established in 1986, is a packaging design company specialising in the structural design of packaging, cost reduction, and packaging technology. As part of that work we have bought a considerable amount of test equipment for the environmental testing of packaging, such as shock, drop & vibration .

We have therefore established PACKTEST, in co-operation with Megger, the world’s leading electrical test instrument manufacturer.

PACKTEST, is an independent environmental, materials and product/pack test facility which is equipped with L.A.B. fixed displacement and sinusoidal vibration tables, L.A.B. precision drop tester, Instron, Chatillon & Lloyd Instruments tensile testing machines, RDE Bump Test Machine, environmental test chambers and other equipment. 

We are a certified packaging test laboratory of the International Safe Transit Association (ISTA), who uniquely in the world has an integrated programme of environmental tests for packaging performance in the distribution cycle.

Clients include: Diagnostic Instruments, KAB Seating, B&Q, Megger, Baxi Fires Division, Baxi Potterton, Heatrae Sadia, Meguiars & Campbell’s Grocery Products.
